New York

Howdy everyone.. not knowing how many people are even bothered to look at this blog.
Hi! It's me, CNO.
I usually post on my main blog in Japanese, but sometimes I just feel like doing so in my 2nd language, so here I am!

This weekend would not be the finest because I caught a cold... urgh, definitely hate it.
On this past Friday I met my friend Jeff to just grab a coffee thinking that would not be that hard even though I was "getting sick".
That was a HUGE mistake! As soon as I went outside of my place, I started to feel very dull and dizzy.
I couldn't even keep up the conversation and had to ask him what he said a billion times... he must have thought I was a dumb, or am I... hehe.

Yesterday I was really excited to get together with Katherine for dinner and go out with Vanessa afterwords, but I had to cancel both because I knew the same thing would happen..
This cold really sucks because I feel totally fine as long as I am home, but once I get out of my place I will have no energy to do anything!!!

Anywayyyy... thanks to the rest yesterday for a whole day, I feel much better today.  I have a few plans today (and even though one was already canceled,) I hope I can just go out and do a few things.

On my main blog, I have been updating my NY trip in the end of the last year.
If anybody cares to see pictures and a lot of foreign characters, go ahead.

My very first trip to NY was very interesting, and I definitely had a blast!
It was originally my very good friend, paku chan's idea.
She is a friend from high school, and we have been in touch ever since.  She called me up one day, and we decided to meet up in New York.  (She lives in Tokyo, Japan)

Can you tell we had so much fun...? lol

This is me and P at Moscot in Brooklyn.

I have nearly over 400 pictures from this trip, and it is impossible to put all of them or be patient enough to select some. (damn slow computer.)
NYE was one of the most exciting ones in my life thanks to our new friend Remy!

Other pix to follow the highlight..

She bought the cutest board... well, not this one but same kind.

artsy!

My BFF Rhahnyyyyyy!!! We stayed at Rhahnny and Walter's for the whole time.  Thank you so much guys! I love you two to death<3

This is one of the happiest moment, me getting a pair from amazing United Nude.

We just tried to take so many pictures that we don't even know what we were trying to capture.

The very last day, I got to see my other friend from Japan, Miho as well.

Traveling costs money, but I have to do more often cuz every time I do, I get to appreciate my life more , and it gives me more vision.
Life is a b**** but there is always some sort of payoff!!

How were your new years?

xoxo

2k13!!

1st time spending nye in nyc... it was definitely intense at some level, but I had so much fun at the same time!

where should I start... ok, well, Tavuchi from Japanese vintage clothing store Spank! was out here for a bit so I tried to see her as much as possible after her work.
This was before Christmas.
She is so fun to hang out with, and the more we talk, the more things in common we find... it's pretty intense.
Fashion Illustrator Esther was also with us at crazy crab....

I hope pix explain it all... yes, we had a blast, and so did our stomaches.
On Christmas Eve, me and Tavuchi went to eat lobster.

After that we went to Balian's house to see the Christmas lights.  Man, it was speechless.

After this, we went out to a cafe in K-town, and we saw a flyer of a party on the same night, so we went to that one too.  What can I say, it was HELLA fun!lol

On the next day, Holy Christmas day, we went to Disney land.

There are too many pictures to put as always but I hope a portion of pictures here can tell how much fun we had!
I came back home at 1a on 26th, then 6 hours later I flew to NY... what busy holidays I had!!!

Texting

To be honest texting isn't really my thing especially when it comes to a relationship.
I just think guys are not interested enough when they say they don't like talking on the phone... am I wrong?

Besides that fact, texting can make so many things complicated than they have to be...
When you see someone saying "ok", you don't know what tone they are saying in.
Maybe it simply means "ok cool!", but it could also mean "you know what, that's the BS, but whatever... ok."
I honestly don't know how many times people misunderstood me by my "cold blooded" text messages. lol

At the same time, it is also true that texting comes handy when it comes to people you don't really want to talk to.  I don't think this is only my case, but if you are hit on by someone you are not really into, you wouldn't pick up the phone every time do you?

Therefore it comes to a conclusion that if the guy does not call you everyday unless specified, I just simply think he is not so serious.

You shouldn't trust what you hear, but you should trust what you see...
he can say he misses you but if he really does, he would make time to come see you.

Come on, if 5 mins of phone conversation everyday can annoy you, that relationship is definitely not gonna work...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think this is pretty solid and simple.

Back back we back!

Whoa! I haven't posted anything here for over 6 months!!
I got too many things to update, but long story to make it short, I am gooooood!! :)
As soon as I got my visa status sorted out I went back to Japan last month 1st time after 2 years ago!!
Was it fun?
Hell yes!! I got all the good vibes from everyone I love out there, and I couldn't appreciate enough how much I'm blessed!!

Of course I love everyone out here too, but I think I could be a little more productive than I am right now... =)
The below are just a tiny portion out of hundreds of pix back in Japan...
Oh there is one pic I took in Korea as well if you could tell ;)

I've been back since the beginning of June and started to get used to the life out here... :)
Summer is already right there! I am hoping I can enjoy this Summer... more than ever!!

Christmas Season!!

Whoa!!! Can you believe it is already almost the mid of December!?
2011 is so about to end!!
And I am totally not ready for Christmas yet!!
(Well, 1st of all, I do not know HOW I am spending Christmas, and secondly, I have not started christmas shopping yet...)

I do have a whole list for things I want in Christmas, but I am definitely keeping it to myself since I do not want to sound greedy to someone particular ;p
Man, I wish we had the culture of Christmas gifts exchanges in family in Japan too.
We do have the same culture when you are little, but as you grow up, in Japan, you eventually stop celebrating Christmas with family and start spending the day with either your partner or friends... which is totally cool, but where are all the gifts with big budgets from multiple people!? LOL

You can spend decent budgets on your bf/ gf/ friends, but what I want to insist is that gifts you receive from them and gifts you receive from family are just different...
I just remember when I was little my parents would prepare TONS of gift boxes under the Christmas tree, and how excited I was to open them...

Well, I am blessed with where I am at and happy with my life, just missed my spoiled era... hehe.
December to remember, my hair got a little lighter...
I do not know if you can tell on this picture, but you can tell if you see it in person.

Here are the pix of my new JC pair...
If there were Jeffrey Campbell store I could go to, I would so be there for 24/7!!!
Love their shoes so much!!

I hope everyone's day is as bright as this Sunny Tuesday =)
